Hi all! I have upgraded my storage to 2 tb Nvme SSD WD SN850x. According to specs, https://ssdrive.net/western-digital-black-sn850x-2-tb it has PCI-e 4 and writing speed 6600 mb/s. I installed it to latest Linux Mint Cinnamon (mobo Asus TUF B550M-Plus) after windows tests. But speed looks like work on PCI-e 3, when on windows all was good. Is some additional settings or drivers required to run PCIe 4.0 SSD on Linux?

Check your motherboard specs, from my info it has 2x M2 ports, one is PCIe4 and the other is PCIe3

Looks like the speed is dependent on the CPU fitted

If this is your motherboard, then I see two PCI-e slots. One 3.0 and one 4.0.
