Oracle Linux on VirtualBox.

I currently run Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.6 on Virtual-Box.

But upon reboot, I get "VBoxClient: the VirtualBox kernel service is not running. Exiting."

I did some research online and no one seems to offer a fix.

Anyone have a clue?

Thanks.

VirtualBox uses kernel headers which probably work from the moment the actual kernel loads but I'm uncertain on this point.

Do you have VBoxClient entry in /etc/xdg/autostart?

I am not sure why people worship VirtualBox, qemu-kvm is always working fine to me, it's simple and obvious.

It's not that it's worshiped..... :D It actually IS a good piece of Software....... :) But, I often had to look at the Entry that Mitt pointed out..... That MAY be where your trouble is..... :3

I'm on Windows 7/8 64-bit
Well, that MAY have something to do with it....... :) But it seems it might have something to do with VirtualBox itSELF..... :) Did you have a look at that File.....? When VirtualBox messed up for me, an XML File was completely EMPTY.....
