Hello,

No INTERNET after latest Ubuntu 20.04 updates (this week). All other networking is fine. (Can see servers, workstations etc.)
All settings the same.
Running off of the USB stick for this post. (obviously internet works)
Created a new user... no joy. Reboot... no joy.

Home built quad core Celeron, been working fine.

Any ideas? Like how to undo latest updates or investigate...

Like how to undo latest updates

G'day @bfharding and welcome to linux.org :)

A bit late now, but when the problem is fixed, install Timeshift, it is in your Software Centre.

Then you would run an on demand snapshot before major updates - that way if anything goes wrong you can roll back.

A brief tutorial is at Linux Lite's site

https://www.linuxliteos.com/manual/tutorials.html#timeshift

or you can ask Timeshift-related questions at my thread here (under revision to update)

https://www.linux.org/threads/timeshift-similar-solutions-safeguard-recover-your-linux.15241/

In the meantime, if you ran the updates via the GUI software updater, there will be a record of the updates held in

Synaptic Package Manager - File - History

or if under Terminal

/var/log/dpkg.log

may hold a few weeks data on what was installed.

HTH
