I know but with that free license they can eventually change the terms and conditions, as well as that you might have to renew something every year to keep the free license and it's a PITA to work with subscription-manager which you need to use when managing repositories and subscriptions, so I rather use a RHEL clone than use RHEL just to avoid subscription-manager and the chance of running into a change of terms and conditions.
