I have a redundant Nexus10. It seems to be pretty much useless for anything other than web browsing as it is "googlelocked" Has anybody hacked one please and turned it into anything useful. Even if it is only a touch screen. I have P1`s and 3D printers which I would like to use it with, even at a basic level. Very much appreciate any advice.

To the best of my knowledge, all Nexus devices are easily unlocked... they are designed to be hacked. There are many custom ROMs available to explore, and you might even be interested in trying Ubuntu Touch. See this:

I don't know if you'll achieve 3D printer support, but there is much you can do with your tablet with a little effort. The various Android forums will probably give you much better info.

I love posts like yours. Seriously, you:
    • Entre the Linux forum and your first message is "Linux sucks"
    • Invade a completely unrelated thread
    • Don't provide any details about your issue
And you want others to help you? 10/10, for goodness sake.

First thing you need to do is unlock the bootloader. Simply search "nexus 10 bootloader unlock"
Secondly, find your way to XDA developers
There are lots of tweaks and other things for you to do with it there

If that doesn't float your boat, give it to me. :p
