Greetings
It is good to know there are other old hands here as well. Almost certain they will have had similar experiences as they grew into their knowledge of computers.
First taste was a keyboard with tiny rubber keys called a ZX Spectrum, got hooked. Bought my own Commodore 64 within a year and everything has stemmed from there. Wrote my first assembler/disassembler in BASIC and had fun writing short programs that all most never did what I wanted them to hee heee. 40 plus years later the yearning to learn has not left me :~))
