Net-gear ac6100 compatibility issues on 20.4

Hi guys, extremely new to Linux, installed Ubuntu for the first time today on a machine. So my issue is that I have a WiFi adapter that is not Plug and Play. It requires some terminal commands to get it up and running, now again I am very new to this, so I found multiple forums with different commands and such to run and get it up and running. I have tried every single one of these and it has not worked for me at all. Is there anyone here that can help me get this Adapter to work? Any help would be extremely appreciated.

So I followed this tutorial to get my adapter installed, and it worked great! Then suddenly the next day the machine would not boot into the OS, I ended up having to Re-Image due to upgrading to a different SSD. I then went and followed the instructions again, but when I finally go to make the install, it doesn't do anything. I do reboots and that does nothing as well. Anyone got any idea what I can do to make this adapter work?
