Need Testing Feedback

Odd because...

Yeah, I had got further previously, so wondered.

Don't knock yourself out, it will be ready when it's ready and not before.

Lord knows this 5,000 year old Wizard needs his beauty sleep ;)

Geez Louise, who was that masked man? That was quick.

I'll download it and take a look a little later in my day.

Ta. (Aussie for thank you, pronounced "tar")

No joy again, mate, regrettably, got the same as the screenshot in #10 on page 1. Used a different USB stick that is also reliable, and verified the shasum.

I like the idea of the QR popup, though.

I don't use them myself, as I don't regard phones as secure, unless/until I get a Pinephone or other that works in Australia and I can ramp up security on a Linux to my satisfaction. I can see a lot of users making use of it though. :)

Over my weekend, I can try Gnome disk image writer, and also try on a VM.

Due to the lack of responses/feedback...

You could do yourself a favour and introduce yourself over at https://www.linux.org/forums/member-introductions.141/ and tell us a bit of the @LinuxHub story?

There, you will meet a few of the Gang, and may get more members to try it. We can just direct any support questions over to here. Have a think about it.

Friday here in Oz, so

Thanks for the feedback. And I will definitely introduce myself to the community soon. It's been a crazy week with the Holidays, Work and Linuxhub. Gonna wind down over the weekend.

when you get to this section is when you get the errors?

Correct, but is illegible, it is only that I have watched the vids that I know the content.

The link does not provide for hashsums but I found the following

SHA1: 3baa34e0f321aef36a4eeab34772f51ff33ce11f

SHA256: ebd8961d0963ebc288c8d0819ee8c436060d3c526749c667d35205a920dac1d9

If that is correct, it may help others.

I'll burn it to stick and try next 24.

good morning

@LinuxHub i downloaded Linuxhub_Prime_v3.0.3-2025.01.14-x86_64.iso wrote it to USB with balena
etcher.
i booted it on 2008 era laptop it booted fine.
one thing i didn't have a Ethernet connection at the time of testing.
i need the video for wifi you mention in your video, i looked on you-tube and didn't see it.
it would be nice to have the actual web link instead of a qr code or maybe have both.
i am fond of openbox, and have used arch/arcopro in the past.

EFI did not work for me on an Intel NUC, a Dell Latitude or KVM/QEMU.

Switching to Legacy BIOS helped.

I have been at this screen for over an hour, how long should this take? I selected the Plasma 6 install.

It appears the VM is paused and I cannot resume it.
