Need Help installing RealTek Wifi Drivers

I havea linux mint 5.4.0-66-username kernel version and a Realtek wifi with chipset Obda:f179.
I am clueless as to how to install the drivers. I have the CD that came with it but I can't install from it. Further it says it is compatible with linux 2.4+ versions.
Any idea how to install?
