I would agree.... stay away from the AI... when it comes to programming and most technical stuff it is often wrong. I use it to take care of tedious stuff but always check it to make sure it is correct. 80% of the time I have to adjust what it says and that requires knowing it already.What do you mean with "I've been using AI"?

not sure why you are trying to install a .deb in ubuntu. Yes it will handle it but much better to put in the correct ubuntu versions.. please refer to this.. https://idroot.us/install-mysql-workbench-ubuntu-24-04/
it is directions to install mysql server and workbench. You are doing it the hard way.
