mv move question

I have a question, how do I move files all starting with 618 or 77 but all the rest in the name is different including the .end
would it be mv -f 618* 77* ../outbound

I'm a old BBS guy that moved from windoze to linux

Yes. The -f would not be necessary unless there is a file in the destination with the same name.
