Multihead breaks V-sync :/

Hey all,
Every time I launch a game (seemingly regardless of which game it actually is) I get fps above 60 and screen tearing, almost as if vsync wasn't on in the first place. As soon as I turn off all monitors but one regardless of which one that is, even without restarting the game vsync starts working. This is obviously inconvienent as I'd like to be able to use my monitors. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

First, not all monitors support vsync. Do all of yours?
Second, even if they do, they don't always support the same framerates. Do all of yours?
