Usually, DEs have a keyboard and mouse settings and googling for Pop! DE I see it uses Gnome, is that right? If so, look under Settings -> Devices -> Mouse & Touchpad and see if there's an option there to do what you want to. You can also do that by command line but that's beyond the scope of my knowledge ;)

hey
i looked at mouse setting and it wont solve my problem :(
i want to make the mouse middle button to scroll when ever its pushed
currently its pasting the last selected bit of text

gnome tweaks tool

you can get it from the pop shop, or at terminal

Code:
sudo apt-get -y install gnome-tweaks

once installed, open tweaks - keyboard and mouse and flip the switch for middle button paste

you may have to log out and back in, not sure

cheers and welcome
