I have been doing a lot of work lately in a chroot environment using /usr/sbin/chroot. I wrote these two bash scripts to help with the process of mounting and unmounting the /dev, /dev/pts, /proc, and /sys file systems in the target root file system so I didn't have to type all of this each time.

I didn't see a forum for system administration or I would have posted these there instead.

We do have 'dev ops' and a couple of 'server' options, but no specific sys admin sub-forum.

I suspect it's because we use Linux, so we're all sys admins.
