Missing Thread Re. Mint

Hi all. I registered yesterday and as a first post started a new thread about three hours ago to request feedback regarding likely pitfalls and/or considerations with Mint/Cinnamon in a fairly typical home user situation.
It was visible about 1/2 hour later but seems now to have disappeared.
My account is showing 0 messages posted.
Can anybody say what might have happened?
Am I doing something daft?

Being a new member, your first post may be in the moderation queue......that is entirely possible/normal for a first post.....especially If it contains any links/url's to other places/sites etc

One of the Mods will be online shortly. I have alerted them to your plight.

I don't think we normally mention that as a matter of course. Then, spammers would know how many posts to make before they can start being sneaky and editing older posts to include links (and similar behavior).

It's not many, however. It doesn't take much effort.
