Hi

New guy here.

When I get into the GRUB menu, there is no option "a" to modify kernel arguments before booting.

This is the case for both Debian and CentOS.

What can I do to fix this?

Both are full installs.

Thanks

So when you boot up, you see the Grub menu but you don't see any options for editing the kernel arguments? Maybe it's just that, you don't SEE it. The key to doing the edit is E, not A. When you get the Grub menu, just press E, whether you see the option or not. Let us know how it goes.
