Mirroring Changes or Specified User to Root

Hello everyone! I'm going to keep this short. I've been doing some "ricing" as they call it and I'd love to run some sort of command or script to copy these changes over to root. I don't care if files are mirrored over, I barely have any and I can remove those myself. Have a nice day!
 


What is your actual goal?

The very superficial idea of having the same icons, panel widgets, wallpapers, ect. in root and potentially other users that there is in a normal user. Essentially a default layout for all users (I’m using XFCE).
 
That's what I figured. You'd be looking for the skeleton directory.

Sorry again for the late reply, but what exactly would I be adding to /etc/skel/? It appears empty but that may be because I’m not root...
 
You'd be adding the items/settings you want to be defaults for users. There are tons of articles about using it.
