Thank You,
If I leave one of my 3 Xubuntu 24.04 systems to go to a different one, the fresh one will boot into Emergency Mode. I doesn't matter which I leave, or if I use Restart into Bios, or Shutdown, without fail this happens.

I'm running Xubuntu from 2 NVMEs. If I reboot into the same system, there is no trouble. Apt Update shows no problems.

What can I check to find my problem(s)?

@abejarano - can you explain a bit more on

..the fresh one will boot into Emergency Mode.

1.Does it take you to a black screen with white text saying

Grub>

or

Grub Rescue>

or other, if so, what?

2. Can you take a picture of your grub menu and upload it to us?

3. How long has this been happening?

4. May I ask the reason for running 3 instances of 24.04 Xubuntu?

Cheers

1. It is not a grub screen, it is Xubuntu, like the screen one gets after sub-selecting the recovery mode option in the usual grub boot menu. At first it identifies itself in "Emergency Mode". It asks for root password. It shows how to reboot and how to see boot errors, but I can't make sense of them.

2. There are no errors before grub displays the Xubuntu logo. I don't know how to screenshot the menu, but I am attaching grub.cfg.

3. It has been happening some weeks.

4. It helps when I have a problem with a system that I don't have time to fix immediately, also I like that I have two backups available for immediate use. (I'm 76 and quite forgetfully prone to mistakes.)

Thank you,
