What is the difference between union and bind options in persistence Debian 11 Live OS?
According to https://manpages.debian.org/jessie/live-boot-doc/persistence.conf.5.en.html page, bind option, "binds" the files with original files and when you change in persistence store, it changes system file. However , in https://manpages.debian.org/jessie/live-boot-doc/live-boot.7.en.html it says :

At boot time it will look for a (read-only) medium containing a "/live" directory where a root filesystems (often a compressed filesystem image like squashfs) is stored. If found, it will create a writable environment, using aufs, to boot the system from.

My problem with union is that I could not succesfully update initramfs by using "update-initramfs -u" command since it gives error "I: update-initramfs is disabled (live system is running on read-only media)". So, can "bind" option solve my problem? Is there anybody who used or know about this issue? I could not fine "anything"= nothing about "bind" option in internet. Please help me.
