Hi,

I've just installed Ubuntu 19.1 on my desktop computer dual booting with WIndows 10 but there's not much disk space left. Now, in Windows 10 I can see unallocated space and I want to use this with Ubuntu. What do I need to do ?

Regards

With Ubuntu I would use gparted to manage disk space for your Linux partitions. On windows I would use disk management. I would assign the extra space to windows before assigning the rest to Linux. Windows is pickier about disk allocation.

What is the amount of space you are talking about ?

If the amounts of space are quite small, (and it means that you will always be scratching for space) would it make sense to get hold of an external hard drive and save some of the space taking pics/documents/music/movies etc to that ?
