Linux mint installation problem

have been trying to get linux mint working on my new pc and i cand for the life of me, it started with only working in compatibility mode, then when i changed the boot thingy to nomodeset (as seen here) it started working, but once i had installed it to my ssd, it would not boot.

it may be something to do with the drivers however i have not been able to figure it out (rx 580 if that helps)

any solution would be much apreciated

For some reason it's not loading the correct amd Graphics driver. It's loading ati:vesa and it should be AMDgpu.
That is a kernel function. But it may be worth a try to install the driver from AMD or through the PPA found here.

doesnt work because i cant reboot my pc as shown in the instructions

silly question.

The ssd...what was on there before you installed linux there ?

im going to type another overview of my problem because i missed some stuff in my original post:

when i install linux mint onto a usb and then flash it to my ssd (wiping everything) it doesnt turn on or blackscreens.

my full hardware list is:

i3 10105f
msi b460m pro vdh wifi
16gbs of g.skill ram
an asus rx580
a kingston a400 ssd
a corsair cv450 power supply

It might the AHS stands for advanced hardware support, I am not saying fully install just run it live and see

it wouldnt be possible that i dont have secureboot enabled by accident right, because i couldnt find it in my mobo bios when i looked

Your motherboard was released in 2020, I doubt that it doesn't support UEFI/secure boot.
