hi all

can someone please tell me how to change the horizontal margins (top, bottom)?

i only see left, right

i'm guessing its one of the
View-Toolbars

They aren't called margins. Margins are only for width.
The only way I know to do this, is in the Format:page Style
menu. You can either change the paper size, or manually
type in the inches in the top and bottom borders.
 
thats not cool. they need to have a bar that you can move like with the left/right

isn't there like an add on or a newer version of libre that would have this necessary feature

1. Open the document that needs margin adjustment
2. Click "Format" in the top menu shown in your image above.
3. Then click Page Style
4. Then open the Page tab
5. Set top, bottom, left, right margins for this document

Hint: Shift-Alt-P is a shortcut to skip steps 2 and 3.
