Hello Tech's:
My Asus X555DA turn off monitor when unplugged from AC adaptor, but it return when I plugged back.
If it is connected to other monitor, just the lapttop monitor turn it off, I can work on the monitor "normal".
The laptop monitor is not going disable, because when I work with extended screen, the Monitor System Settings still detected, but it is completely black / off.
I found several web pages, all related to Windows 10, of this problem is because the refresh rate when switch on battery mode, or the charging battery parameters.
My PC data:
OS Kubuntu 22,4 LTS
Model Asus X555DA-BB11 (X555 Series)
Processor AMD A10-8700P 4 x 1.8 - 3.2 GHz, Carrizo
Graphics adapter AMD Radeon R6 (Carrizo) - 512 MB VRAM, Core: 626 MHz, Memory: 667 MHz, DDR3, 15.201.1101.1002
Mainboard AMD CZ FCH
Did it need battery driver update?
How to update the battery driver?
How to troubleshoot where is really the problem?
