I have been using Kubuntu 13.10 and it has been running well. Yesterday I received a notification that an upgrade to 14.04 was available. I started the installation but it failed and I received a message that it could not calculate the upgrade. There was more but that is the basis of the failure.
I've researched online an apparently what could be stopping the install is a PPA. Ok but then my question is which PPA?
Or is there something else that is stopping the install?
Problems appearing and I'm thinking that I should have a good back-up plan but I have none. I am not even sure which program would work for a backup, should I copy the partition to an external drive, etc.????
