I have been looking for easy , KISS , way to duplicate working OS partition on multiboot system.
I found clonezilla to hard top implement - it wont "clone" itself and seems to be unable to see dev higher that 30 - such as " /dev/sdb31 "
"dd" does not give any progress report nor results .
I did try , out of desperation - copy partition using "gparted" and not sure if it worked
Or should it worked .
I am not particularly looking for making working OS copy - just soimething I can recover
when my main OS crashes.

Sounds like you need Timeshift, Anne, have you tried it?

I run 68 Distros from 4 different families and I have Timeshift installed on (I think) all but one that I am still working on.

It is not particularly useful with BTRFS.

Cheers
