Unfortunately, using it in a VM is no good because the keystrokes are sent to the VM through software. The Windows kernel + drivers are handling the raw input. That is then sent to the VM (which can emulate whatever hardware from there).I tried all of the solution but non of it actually worked. If it might help us any way, any linux installation on virtual box(windows as host) seems fine out of the box

Servers don't run GUI's 99% of the time, you have an awful lot of hate for the Linux desktop compared to all the other sysadmins I know. With your years of Linux experience you would either find a solution or a workaround in no time, although for this problem it would be interesting to know if this problem only happens with Gnome or also other DE's.You never have these issues on server hardware.
