I've been having problems for the last two days of my keyboard and mouse simply no longer working. It typically presents on either the keyboard or the mouse, rarely both at the same time. The mouse will no longer click on anything, though the cursor will still track. Or the keyboard will no longer enter text. This happens regardless of my chosen window manager - I have observed the problem in Plasma, XFCE and OpenBox. It also happens regardless of my keyboard or mouse - I have tried several. It does not happen when I am in Windows 10, nor does it happen at the console - only X11.
I am running Ubuntu 20.04 on a Ryzen 5 3600, MSI x570 motherboard.
UPDATE: Restarting X11 temporarily resolves the issue.
