Hi,

I have an HP Envy X360 with dedicated Nvidia Geforce MX150 card as well as the driver installed and selected as primary GPU in "Nvidia X Server Settings". However it's not possible to set the highest resolution to 2560x1080, just 1920x1080 which looks abit bad on my Samsung 29" monitor (https://www.samsung.com/uk/monitors/curved-se790c/LS29E790CNSEN/).

Any indeas what's wrong? It's working fine on Windows 10. My distro is KDE Neon as the title says, but it's not working in regular Ubuntu either. The monitor just flickers in black colors.

Update: Tried both Wayland and X11.

The thing is that my laptop's resolution is 1920x1080, is the problem that Linux doesn't even support monitors to be used with different resolutions? Is there a work around for this if so?
