KDE - Is it possible to stop the touchpad going back a page if you scroll slightly to the side whilst going up or down a page?

Im not entitrely sure where this post belongs or what to call this feature, but on KDE if I am scrolling down a webpage for example and that scrolling is not completely up & down, I get the arrow coming up showing that carrying on will take me back a page. Can I turn that off? Ihavent seen anything in the settings that looks like it would be the thing I need.

Its not a problem if I cant, its a good feature to have but I am getting that arrow come up quite a lot so I am obviously not scrolling in a straight line.

Thankfully my driving isnt that bad.

Sorry, but I think you might need to rephrase this question, cause I don't get what has the touchpad to do with the arrow you say you get. The way I read it, looks like it could be a browser feature more than anything else.

Yeah sure, the issue is when I scroll up or down on a website for the first example. If I scroll up or down the page using the touchpad, unless my fingers go in a 100% straight line I get a back arrow on the left side of the screen. If I keep going, the browser will go back a page.

For example 2, in Libreoffice if I have it windowed and I scroll up or down, the sheet I am writing on will go left or right around the Libre's workspace.
My scrolling is clearly not going in a straight line and although its not really an issue it is annoying to have to line it up again or stop scrolling before I end up on a previous page in a browser. I was on Mint Cinnamon before and I never had these issues there. I dont know if that was because this isnt a thing on the cinnamon desktop, or if it is but its not as sensitive as it is on KDE.

Hopefull that makes more sense

I have a KDE enabled distro installed now but I dont have a touchpad (and my laptops dont currently have KDE so I cant test), but in KDE there's touchpad options

you could try this --> https://github.com/diredocks/gesture-evolution or https://github.com/taj-ny/kwin-gestures and see if some of those gesture options work better
Ive been through all the settings in the GUI, its habit when setting up something new and I havent seen anything to turn this feature on or off.
Those improved gestures for the touchpad seem pretty good, I think Ill give these a go as I like a few of the features listed, thanks for that!
