The only other one I can think of, and I don't think it will work, is dpkg --purge
Ok so i have unselected the libra office update in the package, now its working. So must be libra office thats faultyhave you got a reload option on your update manager ? is it synaptic ? whats your O.S

Click on menu, then type Synaptic Package Manager ....it will appear at the top of the list....press Enter
You will need to enter your password.
You will see similar to the pic below

Click on Edit
The click on Fix Broken Packages
A notice should appear in the bottom left hand corner of that same pic saying "Successfully Fixed Dependency Problems"
Then close that window, and run Update in the normal manner
