I'd caution you to not post your email plainly. It can (and will) be scraped. You will get UCE/SPAM if you do.

It's a choice you can make for the sake of promoting your site, but maybe a contact page (simple PHP) and linking to that would be a better choice? It's up to you. You can do it if you want.

You can also try:

username <at> example.org - just breaking it up so that people have to manually copy/pate and then edit the email address. It makes it harder for automated email scrapers that constantly trawl the web looking for people who didn't munge their email address.
