Intel I219V Gigabit LAN controller not working

i dont know why the hell this happened, i re enabled secure boot in bios and the ethernet just works, i have always disabled secure boot in linux with every pc i have had to avoid problems and now is the opposite

Code:
Network:
  Device-1: Intel Ethernet I219-V driver: e1000e
IF: eno1 state: up speed: 1000 Mbps duplex: full mac: (my mac)

Awesome! Quite strange Fedora does support secure boot, I forgot to even try it let you try enabling it. Glad you got is solved!

You can remove the installed kernel module you installed before and the kernel-devel package.
Code:
sudo rm /usr/lib/modules/6.1.11-200.fc37.x86_64/kernel/drivers/net/iqvlinux.ko
sudo yum remove kernel-devel
Since it shouldn't be needed anymore.

after further investigation, this problem has been around for a while, this may help

just an update: i had some problems with the nvidia driver, so i re-disabled secure boot and the driver worked, and im still on a working ethernet, i honestly dont know what is happening but everything works now with secure boot off. Maybe the flashing on the eeprom worked and the error was false, after rebooting everything was fixed.

Maybe it's a bug in your motherboard's firmware that gets triggered under certain conditions.
You can secure boot with the Nvidia driver, it's what I do.
Code:
System:
     Firmware: n/a (n/a)
  Secure Boot: enabled (user)
 TPM2 Support: no
 Boot into FW: supported
