I have a work laptop that has Windows 10 on it that asks for the administrator password every time I try to do something. My question is if I install Linux on it, can I install Windows over Linux? I tried the Windows boot file on my laptop that has Linux and when I click on the executable file it brings up Software Manager. Where do I go from there is what I'm asking? What do I need to run the file to install Windows? I know I used a lot of foul language (Windows) LOL, but if I can install Linux and then be able to install Windows, it would be easier and less time consuming than cloning my old hard drive with Win 10 on it to the work laptop.

If you want to run Windows within Linux, you need to install it on a Virtual Machine (using, VirtualBox, for example).
