Installing Telegram on Ubuntu 17.04 (32bit)

So simple, but no luck:

Code:
The program 'telegram' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
sudo apt install orville-write

Quick update. Tried the install command recommended by the Terminal. Everything seemed to work. Then, tried to open the program. Got this error:

Code:
telegram: Panic - Unable to find your tty (pts/0) in /var/run/utmp

This link says to launch it like this:
Code:
/opt/telegram/Telegram
Watch for that capital "T".

Don't yet know who Wizardfromoz is, but I hope to learn soon. Hehehe.

Wizard appears in a puff of smoke, everybody heads for the fire escape.

Hi @DoiKham2561 and welcome to linux.org :p

I am the author of the Timeshift article Brian (@Condobloke ) referred you to, it is a work in progress. Also infamous for numerous other crimes.

Sorry I seem to have missed the man in the dark glasses, I have just been reading the last 20 or so posts to get up to speed.

@DoiKham2561 - can you do something for me? Go to Terminal and type in and enter:

Code:
inxi -Fxs

It is likely installed in your Zesty Zapus, but if not,

Code:
sudo apt install inxi

I am in Zorin currently, and mine looks like this:

You can find the Spoiler in your Reply Pane toolbar, has a little + sign on it.

If you can get that back to us, I can tell you more.

Cheers :D

Also, from the #22 error
Quick update. Tried the install command recommended by the Terminal. Everything seemed to work. Then, tried to open the program. Got this error:

Code:
telegram: Panic - Unable to find your tty (pts/0) in /var/run/utmp

... just logout and log back in, or reboot. It should then be under Menu
