cd Downloads
sudo apt install ./google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
@KGIII - just a heads up that the above method (sudo apt install &c) may generate an error about sandboxing.
You have applied the lesson but it has not been updatedAssuming it's in you Downloads folder, open your terminal with CTRL ALT T.
Code:cd Downloads sudo apt install ./google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
However, you should be able to update it just fine with 'sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y', assuming it's properly installed along with the repository. You shouldn't need to download a .deb each time it updates. It should update with the remainder of your system.
Edit: I also just realized that's not Chrome. I couldn't tell what browser it was. So, ignore the above bit about updating.
It *should* not, unless there's some Mint weirdness that I'm unfamiliar with. I just tested it (albeit with Ubuntu in a VM) and it did exactly what it should have done.
Sorry, but if the download is in another place such as another drive,

I can not put bug pictures on the forumNot unless you can launch Google Chrome.
Tarek, where did you download the .deb file to?
Was it to /home/tarek/Downloads ? Or if not, where to?
If it was to Downloads, you have to type 2 commands, as @KGIII said above
Code:cd Downloads sudo apt install ./google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
Wizard
It's case sensitive. You typed "Upgrade".
From your list of packages, you already have Google Chrome installed - or at least already have the repository.
If you need to, copy and paste...
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
Aptitude doesn't recognize 'Upgrade'.
