Share some detail, please....what are you installing on?...the carpet?....how would we know from the "i want to install fedora permanently???

What is the pc...make and model ....specs....what experience do you have if any.....what steps have you already taken.......etc etc

Fedora is a great distro and should provide you with all you will need to learn Linux.
