I have 2 problems. The first- terminal it does not open(Kali Linux)

Hello all .
I will start with the fact that I am a totally new user of Kali Linux and have it only 3 days.
The first thing I wanted to do was install Tor Browser.
(Thanks to various records found in Tor Browser, I decided to change the widows on kali linux)
Despite the seasoned 9-hour seat-searching and following the videos and guides, I was unable to install Tor Browser
On the next day the terminal stopped working, I think moments when switching on and that's it.
I tried different things on the web and movies - I changed the user, password, region, language etc. and nothing worked
I am asking more experienced Kali Linux users for help in these topics.
I will add that I have versions - debian 10 GNOME-3.30.2
