So, speak about yourself is really difficult ?!

But I'm Andre, I'm from Brazil. I'm also a PhD Student of Physics at the university of Campinas (UNICAMP).

I'm a very noob using Linux, but I really like have a curiosity to learn to use Linux.

In my PC, I have the Linux mint installed, I think this is a good distro for new users.

If someone need help (not in the advance uses of Linux) , like physics and I know, I'm will be happy to help!

Nice to meet you guys!!!

G'day Andre, and Welcome to linux.org

This is a forum filled with knowledge and friendly people.

Join the conversations, mark the posts that interest you, so that you get to see and read the replies......that is the best way to learn in addition to experimenting with your linus mint.

Also learn about Timeshift....there is a topic on here about it

It will restore your pc to a prior state if you happen to break it.

:) ... two actually, and welcome @andrefahl from another Aussie - this one is with a broken shoulder

(wizard appears in a puff of smoke, stumbles and nearly injures arm again. note to self - give up smoking)

timeshift has been installed with Mint since v18.3 so it is likely you already have it. any questions on it, ask over at

https://www.linux.org/threads/timeshift-similar-solutions-safeguard-recover-your-linux.15241/

we have another from Brasil joined recently, in @Rafaelys - he may swing around to say

Olá

enjoy your linux
