Client sent me a compressed file with TXT extension. At first i thought it is not an archive file. But when i used 7-zip (Windows) to look inside it, i can see files inside but Linux. I have tried so many packages including 7zip in LINUX (CentOS7) to extract it but no solution yet.

G'day @Ho Le Hoang Phi and welcome to linux.org ... Vietnamese? :)

Our Admin @Rob and some others are well-versed in CentOS 7 and may better advise on extraction.

I'll place your attachment more visibly here.

The files are all .csv - comma separated value - which should import into MS Excel easily enough.

Is there a reason you believe these files to be specifically Linux?

Have you thought of asking your client?

Cheers

Good day Chris,
My problem is not about .csv files. it's about unzipping to get these files.
I heard my co-workers said, It's old Japanese technique on Windows OS.
I think it's not a good idea to ask client when i have not tried all my abilities (asking you guys).
Thanks.

Hey there - can you run this command to determine what kind of file it is?

Just type: file file.txt

Then, paste the output.
Good day Rob,
Code:
file 0350720181015142500PFRT8300.TXT
0350720181015142500PFRT8300.TXT: data
Thank you.

Fair comment.

But it's been a week now, and that is biting into the time commitment that the client may expect of you? The longer you wait, the harder it is for the client (if you ask them) NOT to say, for example "Well why didn't you ask that at the beginning?" And the less time you folks have to complete your project or contract - Time Management Best Practice.

Your business, your call. :)

Good luck though, and if an answer is forthcoming I will be interested to learn.

Cheers
