Alex, just one point, if you are using a cloth to clean the contacts of any components, then it should be a lint free, cotton or linen cloth as man-made fibres and sheep wool can cause static discharges and damage the component

Next time I'm at Home Depot I'll have to pick up a box of microfiber cleaning cloths.

I use memtest but I've never had Ram go bad....fingers crossed.
