    how to start basic steps in hacking ,,if i dint know anything in this field? plz tell me anybody

    Hello and welcome to Linux.org! By 'hacking' i'm assuming you mean in the sense of being a 'hacker' as explained at in the jargon file.

    If that's the case, then great - you're at the right place! Best thing to do is put Linux on some hardware laying around and get familiar with it. The more you use it, the more you'll be able to get around and learn.

    If you're looking to get into penetration testing, that's great too as long as you're doing it to help someone secure their systems / setup. Either way, you want to install Linux first and spend some time doing the things you normally do in your regular OS until you feel you're ready to do more. At that point, take a look at some of the articles we have here.
