How to configure load balancer in Linux

I have 2 Apache Tomcat instances 8181 and 8282 ports.
Now the question is I want to configure load balancer for this so that users will be redirected to any one of the ports when they try to login.

I never deal with it as I only spin up single servers and don't have anything with enough demand to require this. But, I did a bit of searching and followed a few links. I came up with this:
