I am willing to take hacking course from one of the renowned training institute in Bangalore. I was reading some facts about Ethical hacking i.e Ethical hacking is the way toward infiltrating or encroaching in a PC framework with the end goal of security testing. Programmers who lead ethical hacking are recruited by organizations to direct entrance testing. These programmers are specialists in PC security, as they have a urgent influence in guaranteeing an organization's IT framework security. So, kindly enlighten me more on this topic.

Moving this to Linux Security (NOT Automated Announcements) - if you wish to be an ethical hacker, you will need to pay attention to where you post. :):)

We don't do that, you will need to Google.

I reckon I can raise another Amen for that, Bro

AMEN !!!

CEH isn't exactly the best course although you can pursue multiple career paths if you do get it such as administration, risk management etc. if you want to get into strictly pentesting and ethical hacking then some of the Offensive Security courses are helpful for learning about hacking and pursuing a career in the field because employers are very keen on certifications from Offsec (such as PWK, AWAE, OSCP etc.). As for Ethical Hacking/Pentesting it involves a lot of auditing and security testing companies/websites to surface vulnerabilities and file a report to said company about what vulnerabilities they have and demonstrating how they are harmful, how they work etc. It is enjoyable but when I was doing pentesting I found it repetitive personally but if you like it then more power to you :)

I found this subReddit is useful if I want to learn the basics of hacking or if you want to ask for help. www.reddit.com/r/HowToHack/
For me, most subReddits are awful, but I found useful tips about hacking in that subReddit, probably because it is heavily moderated.

if you find a vulnerability say as often in a wordpress website ; you do nothing with the knowledge but inform the owner about the vulnerability, i guess you might call that ethical hacking.
