How do you remove and purge LibreOffice from Linuxfx 10?

Since it is based on Ubuntu open a Terminal and issue the following command
Code:
sudo apt purge libreoffice

On my computer libreoffice is a metapackage and that instruction will remove everything. Try this instead
Code:
sudo apt purge libreoffice*

I get this
"
sudo apt purge libreoffice*
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package libreoffice*
"

So, is it there or not? Can you start it from your Menu?

it is there and everything works. I tried it all for about 2 weeks and everything works

I just need room on this hard drive. and I really don't need or use the libreoffice

Open Synaptic and Search for libreoffice. How are the squares coloured?

I am good with the terminal and have been using it for over 2 years. synaptic I have really not used before

they seem to be mostly light grey in color. and a few dark grey or black

some of them after the square has a red like backwards C

On my computer installed programs appear green.

RIGHT click on each of the LibreOffice entries and where possible choose "Mark for complete removal".

yes I saw that and I guess I'll try that I hope that does it without destroying everything else

When you have marked them click on "Apply".
