Hi
Tying to find out how i check if i am using my openvpn network.Tried netstat -i and got this.
:~# netstat -i
Kernel Interface table
Iface MTU RX-OK RX-ERR RX-DRP RX-OVR TX-OK TX-ERR TX-DRP TX-OVR Flg
eth0 1500 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 BMU
lo 65536 80 0 0 0 80 0 0 0 LRU
wlan0 1500 409719 0 2 0 202545 0 0 0 BMRU
But im non the wiser.
Is there an easier way of finding out if i am using my openvpn network?
Does it automatically start when you boot up?
Network manager gives no clues it just names my provider, no options for vpn.
I also downloaded openvpn-network-manager but thats just the same as my normal network manager.
Tried if config got this.
eth0: flags=4099<UP,BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
ether 1c:1b:0d:7f:75:fd txqueuelen 1000 (Ethernet)
RX packets 0 bytes 0 (0.0 B)

TX packets 0 bytes 0 (0.0 B)
TX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0
lo: flags=73<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING> mtu 65536
inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 255.0.0.0

TX packets 80 bytes 6480 (6.3 KiB)

wlan0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet 192.168.0.16 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.0.255
ether aa:3d:70:13:3a:e6 txqueuelen 1000 (Ethernet)
RX packets 790489 bytes 1153859923 (1.0 GiB)
RX errors 0 dropped 2 overruns 0 frame 0
TX packets 389683 bytes 36325004 (34.6 MiB)
TX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0
But i still cannot work out if im using openvpn or not.
Can someone with more knowledge of networks please put me out of my misery.
Thanks
