How do I install Mysql onto my VPS?

    I have a VPS running centOS. I have wine set up for it (it's for a game) how would I install Mysql onto the server?

    Here Try to use gfoogle a bit first. MySQL can be installed very easy.

    Ah thanks for the link man. :) I'll give it a try when I re-new my VPS. I let it run out because of a few money issues I'm having at the moment. I'll also need PHPMYadmin in order to maintain the database but I'll try and find a guide for that as well. :D Thanks.

    For my VPSs, I use Debian as the OS installed and with it, can make use of the apt package system. In terms of having ready to use packages installed, it is pretty slick. This way, I find that I really don't have to do much to have software ready to run. RPM is also good having ready to use packages available. I have used Fedora/Centos in the past, but have developed a preference for Debian over time.

    It depends what OS you are using as the commands will be different. Take a look on the internet and I'm sure you'll find something!
