How do i resize this to make it smaller, i wanna do it for the volume, sound, clipboard, settings, and wifi cause it looks to big.
i tried just dragging the corners in but it stops at after a point and the size is still to big

Im on arch with kde

any help on this will be much appreciated

I'm not sure about that exact window, but you can try putting your cursor in the upper left corner (among other things).

If you do and your cursor changes similar to the image below, you can just click and drag it to make it larger or smaller.

That's with Linux Mint Cinnamon. The red arrow points to the changed cursor and shows you where you need to point if you can in fact change the size of said window.

If you can't resize the window, I'd consider that fairly poor form. Within reason, you should be able to resize that sort of thing - even if it makes it difficult to use. That should be something a user can do with their windows.

I can't say what's possible for that particular window, but in general, the sizing of windows can depend on the configurations which the app makes available. Some make sizing possible and some don't. For example, the configs for the pavucontrol app do include sizing variables, so in the /$HOME/.config/pavucontrol.ini file, where the configs live, one finds the following:
Code:
[window]
width=1246
height=1059
sinkInputType=1
sourceOutputType=1
sinkType=0
sourceType=1
showVolumeMeters=1

One can see from this output that window sizing variables exist, so altering them allows the user to experiment with sizing. In the case of the particular window mentioned in post #1, I can't say where the configs are or what they contain, so it's a "hunt and find" situation I guess.

Yea i already tried that and the smallest it gets is the size in the screenshot, which is still like a 1/4 of my screen but thanks
