How can sb help those who are against the new CoC

Hi I really enjoy using various Linux variances and I just read some articles about the new CoC and how some members are against it and threaten to leave taking their contributions with them. I really want to know how can one help since I think that this change is really for the worse. So I created this account to ask how I can help the opposition against the new CoC.

Other than that, have you heard of Richard Stallman? If not, you have homework to do, lol.
