I prefer hybrid (SSD+HDD).

I want to host a website on a VPS with full root access. It'll contain text only content. But I want to show like a real production environment.
The text will be stored in a database and fetched from there. So, I need a mysql database. All these runs of a k3s cluster. I know nothing I am saying makes that much sense, but I just want to learn new things. It'll be reverse proxied by nginx. I'll install SIEM security monitoring tools, F5 for network firewall.(All w/o docker manually via command line).
I want to setup cloudflare tunnel. I want to put redis as a cache.

How much CPU and RAM do I need?

A simple website shouldn't require much. Would you be using ssh to get to it? As long as you don't need a graphical interface a couple of GB of RAM and 1 CPU core should pull it off. 1 GB of RAM might make things a little tight. I first started using Debian Linux on a laptop PC with a dual core CPU and 2 GB of RAM. AmazonAWS rents webservers for about $5 a month.
