I recently got my Kali Linux on a 300gb external drive, but there are 3 partitions: the Kali Linux (system etc), the persistent partition which is 12 gb and around 200gb that is useless because i want to expand my persistant storage while keeping data (very important data i should add). I tried almost everything on Win and Linux but i can't seem to modify the partition size. Help!

... and what exactly did you try?...

Did you try Gparted from the Kali Linux Repository?

I really just discovered Gparted, there does not seem to be anyway i can merge two partitions without losing **very important** data.

Copy data to a USB stick? Change partitions. Return copied data?
